GET TO KNOW SCOTT

SCOTT MALONE

PHYSICAL THERAPIST
ABOUT ME

In addition to Scott’s 20+ years in physical therapy and education, he has also spent the last 17 years raising Ashley, who at 3 months premature, was diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy. His personal experiences ultimately compelled him to open The Movement School.

Throughout all of his years studying, learning and treating children, he has discovered movement is the cornerstone to independence of thought and physical expression leading to increased dignity, self-reliance and self-esteem. He knows first hand just how much time, energy and consistency it takes to get a child out of their wheelchair and attempting what many would consider to be the basic building blocks for life like eating and sitting. If you’re around Scott for any length of time, you’re guaranteed to hear him say at least once “Practice doesn’t make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.”
